The Smith Family welcomes volunteer applicants from all backgrounds, education and skill sets. We regularly have volunteer opportunities available throughout the country to match a range of interests, skills and availabilities.

    • Applicants will be mentoring year 8 science and mathematics academic students in developing Lego Mindstorm Robots. The role will include working with a small group of students for two terms (Term 3 & 4) to create a finished robot, and eventually go on to compete in robotics competitions.

    • The Smith Family is seeking volunteers for our Tertiary Mentoring Program which connects disadvantaged tertiary students with trained, volunteer mentors who can help them navigate their way through their studies and make a smooth transition to work.
