In a sell out show in Melbourne's Athenaeum on 22 October 2006, a line-up of some of Australia's best known comedians donated their talent to Stand Up for The Smith Family. Performers included Jimeoin, Wil Anderson, Michael Chamberlin, Greg Fleet, Peter Helliar, Judith Lucy, Lawrence Leung and Andrew McClelland, Charlie Pickering, Terri Psiakis, Adam Richard, Peter Rowsthorn, Denise Scott, Sister She and Lano and Woodley. The event raised over $21,000 and all performers received a framed picture of themselves drawn by our Learning for Life students. We would also like to recognise Alan Brough, the driving force behind the evening and committed supporter of The Smith Family.
