Greg Ryan-Gadsden, General Manager - Western Australia, The Smith Family
Greg Ryan-Gadsden is our General Manager in Western Australia. Greg has 24 years experience working in the Education sector. Prior to joining The Smith Family, Greg worked for five years in aid programs in developing countries as Team Leader and technical adviser. The focus of his work was on building capacity of government and local education personnel to enhance educational services to the children of the nation. Greg has provided technical assistance in the area of policy and strategic planning in the education and law and justice sectors in developing countries. He has held roles in the Education Department in Western Australia including HR Manager, school principal, consultant and teacher over a period of 18 years. As well as roles in the Central Office of the Department of Education, Greg has worked for many years in leadership positions in regional areas and in remote Aboriginal communities throughout Western Australia.
Greg holds a Masters of Education degree from the University of Western Australia, a Bachelor of Education majoring in Computer Education and a Diploma of Teaching majoring in Aboriginal and Intercultural Studies from Edith Cowan University.
