Stephen Vines, General Manager - Queensland, The Smith Family

Stephen Vines joined The Smith Family in August, as our General Manager in Queensland.

Stephen has extensive senior management experience in the education and training, healthcare and research sectors in private and not-for-profit organisations. In these roles he has developed and led delivery of services and programs to communities throughout Queensland. He has engaged actively with a diverse range of stakeholders including government, business, education and training providers and professional bodies.

With more than 20 years broad business management experience, he brings strong commercial, leadership and people skills. Having been General Manager of Queensland Apprenticeship Services and General Manager of The Wesley Research Institute, he is passionate about the education and training of young people through evidence-based services and programs.

Stephen holds a Masters of Business Administration and is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
