 What is Family News?

We know disadvantage in Australia can be hard to spot. You could quite easily go through life thinking that Australia is the lucky country for everyone. But that is not the case.

Family News gives you a rare opportunity to see firsthand what it might be like to walk in the shoes of disadvantaged Australian children.

Over 12 months starting July 2012, Crystal and Bailey, two of the children we support, would like to share their challenges and triumphs with you through Family News.

You'll be right there with Crystal as she sits her Year 10 exams and you'll see Bailey take the big step from primary school to high school. And you'll have the opportunity to send them words of encouragement and advice during these significant education milestones.
