National Careers Week celebrates different jobs, career paths and opportunities.
Here are some ways you can talk with your child about work:
- Explore online resources about different careers together. Exploring careers is a good place to start.
- Talk to your child about jobs that interest them or skills they want to develop. Discussing beyond-school options can help.
- Encourage your child to think about what they like e.g. being with animals, technology or sport.
Even at a young age, learning about different jobs helps your child explore what they like and dream big about their future!
