Get Involved
- Volunteer
  As a VIEW member there are many opportunities to volunteer your time and skills to directly help and support The Smith Family and disadvantaged Australian children and their families.
- Fundraise
  VIEW members raise over $1.1 million annually for The Smith Family and sponsor more than 1,650+ Learning for Life students.
- Raise awareness and advocate
  With more than 300 clubs around Australia involving some 14,000 women from all walks of life, the collective voice of VIEW is an important aspect of the organsation's work.
- Sponsor a disadvantaged student
  Learning for Life sponsorship provides disadvantaged students with financial assistance, emotional support and access to learning and educational programs.
- Partner with VIEW
  VIEW is proud to have a wide range of community partners that support our fundraising efforts and the work of The Smith Family. We would like to thank the following companies for their ongoing support.
Across Australia, more than 13,000 women come together to connect, give back to their communities and help create brighter futures for young Australians. Northern Rivers Zone Conference

Last week, members from 8 VIEW Clubs in the Northern Rivers region in NSW/QLD came together for their Zone Conference, celebrating friendship and a shared purpose and commitment to supporting education for children experiencing disadvantage.

VIEW National President Lorraine Thomson was there, along with special guests MP for Tweed Heads, Geoff Provest, The Smith Family representative Yasmin Dorrington supporting Learning for Life student, Hannah, speaker Joe Franzi from CyberSafety for Seniors, Past VIEW Zone Councillor Rosie and Current Zone Councillor and Host Dianne.

Members and guests enjoyed browsing the trading table generously stocked with home baked goodies and relishes and an impressive raffle table, generating amazing fundraising support for the area.

Club Presidents shared success stories from each club, support from members and their fundraising commitments for their Learning for Life students.

Guest speaker, Joe shared information about scams and ongoing AI issues. VIEW National President also spoke, promoting key VIEW initiatives and activities, including the Return and Earn campaign to support The Smith Family in NSW.

A highlight was hearing from Learning for Life student, Hannah, who shared her journey with The Smith Family and her amazing success and achievements undertaking a Psychology Degree and ongoing studies.

All in all, a very informative, fun and successful Zone Conference! Well done to organisers!
