Tour Down Under Fundraising

Raising funds for The Smith Family and students on the Learning for Life program is the shared goal that drives VIEW.

Our members are passionate about supporting education for Australian children and they are always coming up with fun and creative ways to fundraise!

Earlier this month, VIEW members from clubs across South Australia did just that by volunteering as marshals at the renowned Tour Down Under (TDU) cycling event. Despite the hot and steamy conditions, everyone who participated had a great time!

This initiative is the brainchild of Tonsley VIEW Club member, Debra. It has grown from just 13 volunteers from Tonsley and Blackwood VIEW Clubs taking part three years ago to an incredible 150 VIEW members and their family participating this year!
As a result, thousands of dollars were raised for The Smith Family! 👏👏
Each TDU volunteer marshal receives a $50 donation towards their chosen community group, charity or club for every day they volunteer.
VIEW members from Tea Tree Gully, Adelaide City Evening, Prospect, Marion, Adelaide East, Blackwood Hills and Tonsley VIEW Clubs participated (along with their family members).
Thank you to everyone who supported, volunteered and helped make this such a success — your time and commitment truly make a difference. 💜💜
