East Hills VIEW Club
About
Our Club held their first meeting on 2nd May 1961. We now have 72 active members, who raise fund to support our 7 Learning for Life Students. We also support the Winter Appeal and the Christmas Appeal for The Smith Family.
East Hills VIEW Club is a very friendly group of ladies. We hold our monthly meeting at Revesby Workers Club on the third Monday of each month. The ladies are given a different table to sit at each month, this helps members get to know each other little better, instead of sitting with the same ladies every month.
At each meeting we have guest speakers, who are very informative and knowledgeable about their subjects and are always made to feel welcome.
We have a monthly outing each month, like a tour of the Queen Victoria Building, to the Maritime Museum, or just going somewhere different for lunch.
On the 1st Thursday of each month we have our coffee morning, it is another great way we welcome new members. The ladies sit and talk and laugh together. It is held at Panania Diggers. We go there because the coffee mornings can turn into a coffee luncheon and we can stay there as long as we like.
Our aim at East Hills VIEW Club is to promote VIEW and to sponsor disadvantage children in their everyday lives. Our students write thank you notes to us and we all enjoy hearing from our Learning for Life students.
If you are looking for a monthly commitment, come to our friendly Club and help VIEW in supporting disadvantage children in Australia.
