Engadine Evening VIEW Club

About

Engadine Evening VIEW Club was formed in 1972.

Currently, the Club sponsors three Smith Family Learning for Life students and is actively involved in fundraising activities to raise donations for The Smith Family programs.

We are always open to new members, so please get in touch today and come and see what it's all about.

Meet Our 2026 Committee

On Monday evening, 9th February, our Club held our first meeting for 2026.

This was our Annual General Meeting chaired by Madge and elections were held. It was a great night catching up after the Christmas break and we wish President Barb and her new committee all the best for a successful 2026

February 2026 High Tea

On Saturday afternoon, 14th February, our Club held our first function for 2026.
 
We had good attendance to a High Tea held at the home of one of our Committee member's, Faye. Everyone had a good catchup after the Christmas break and enjoyed a lovely spread of food catered by the Committee

Christmas Themed December Meeting 2025

On Monday 1st December, our Club celebrated our monthly meeting with a Christmas theme and entertainment.

We had Lucky Door prizes, raffles and Secret Santa gifts. Our entertainment for the night was Paul Hodgkinson who sang a variety of songs.  

It was a great fun night!

Melbourne Cup 2025

On Tuesday 4th November, five of our members attended a Melbourne Cup Luncheon at the Engadine Bowling Club. They had an enjoyable day which included some “Sweep” wins.

October 2025 Birthday Celebrations

Our Club celebrated its 53rd birthday in October. We had a great evening with visitors from other Clubs enjoying the celebrations . 

The theme was Black and Gold and President Barb excelled herself with themed decorations. There were lots of raffle draws and lucky door prizes and we were entertained by Tony Mazell, who can be seen in the accompanying photo.

On Tuesday 5th August, a group from our Club visited The Civic Cafe for a High Tea.

It was a good opportunity for Members to catch up and enjoy great food while supporting a local business that provides employment opportunities for people with disabilities.

July Outing

On Friday 11th July, a group of Club members (and a hubby) went into the city and had a tour of the Queen Victoria Building. We learnt a lot about the history of the building and are so glad they didn’t demolish it.

We had a great day out and enjoyed a lovely lunch after the tour

Christmas in July 2025

On Thursday 3rd July, a small group of Members from our Club attended Sharks at Kareela for a Christmas in July Lunch. Beautiful weather and beautiful food. It was a great day enjoyed by all.

Time shared and enjoyed

On Wednesday 7th May, a small group of ladies from our Club attended Embark Restaurant at Loftus TAFE, for lunch. We enjoyed a 3-course meal which everyone enjoyed.

A Fun Day!

On Thursday 10th April, a group of ladies from our Club enjoyed an afternoon of 60’s music at the Engadine RSL. The show was called “Yesterday’s Heroes” and we enjoyed music of Elvis, Roy Orbison, The Beatles and lots more. It was a great fun day!
