  VIEW members exclusively support the children’s education charity, The Smith Family.

  Every two years VIEW members vote on one or more issues of importance that will be the focus of advocacy and lobbying work for the coming years. These are called resolutions.

Get Involved
- Volunteer
  As a VIEW member there are many opportunities to volunteer your time and skills to directly help and support The Smith Family and disadvantaged Australian children and their families.
- Fundraise
  VIEW members raise over $1.1 million annually for The Smith Family and sponsor more than 1,650+ Learning for Life students.
- Raise awareness and advocate
  With more than 300 clubs around Australia involving some 14,000 women from all walks of life, the collective voice of VIEW is an important aspect of the organsation's work.
- Sponsor a disadvantaged student
  Learning for Life sponsorship provides disadvantaged students with financial assistance, emotional support and access to learning and educational programs.
- Partner with VIEW
  VIEW is proud to have a wide range of community partners that support our fundraising efforts and the work of The Smith Family. We would like to thank the following companies for their ongoing support.

About

Gunnedah Day VIEW Club was formed in 1973.

Currently, the Club sponsors six Smith Family Learning for Life students and is actively involved in fundraising activities to raise donations for The Smith Family programs.

We are always open to new members, so please get in touch today and come and see what it's all about.

Meet our 2025 Committee!

We have six Learning for Life students we support through The Smith Family charity

Everyone loves hearing our guest speakers as well as our social days out enjoying lunch at different places ; a good chance for them to get together to socialise and have fun too.

We have gained 14 members in the past 12 months, Joan said.

Judy was presented with a certificate of appreciation by National Councillor Aletia for 100 per cent attendance over the past year.

Joan (President), Denise (vice president), Debbie (secretary) Trish (treasurer), Judy (assistant), Ro (delegate), Shail (assistant), Shirley, Chris and Lorraine (program officers).

Gunnedah Day VIEW Club members gathered for their first meeting of the year with the election of office bearers for 2025 wrapped in an Australia Day theme.

Celebrating 52nd Birthday in July 2025

Celebrations all round in July when Members enjoyed our Club's 52nd Birthday, by announcing the achievement of sponsoring six Learning for Life students.
