Get Involved
- Volunteer
  As a VIEW member there are many opportunities to volunteer your time and skills to directly help and support The Smith Family and disadvantaged Australian children and their families.
- Fundraise
  VIEW members raise over $1.1 million annually for The Smith Family and sponsor more than 1,650+ Learning for Life students.
- Raise awareness and advocate
  With more than 300 clubs around Australia involving some 14,000 women from all walks of life, the collective voice of VIEW is an important aspect of the organsation's work.
- Sponsor a disadvantaged student
  Learning for Life sponsorship provides disadvantaged students with financial assistance, emotional support and access to learning and educational programs.
- Partner with VIEW
  VIEW is proud to have a wide range of community partners that support our fundraising efforts and the work of The Smith Family. We would like to thank the following companies for their ongoing support.

Murrumbateman VIEW Club

About

Murrumbateman VIEW Club was formed in 2025.

Murrumbateman VIEW Club was inaugurated in June 2025 and already has a membership of 34 amazing women. We are keen to continue to welcome new members to join us in raising funds for The Smith Family and the Learning for Life program. Later this year we will undertake a couple of events to promote our club to the local community. In September we will have a stall at the Murrumbateman Markets and then in October we will host a luncheon and second-hand clothes event.

Our regular monthly meeting on the second Tuesday of the month is held at the Murrumbateman Country Inn and includes a raffle, trading table and guest speaker. Members have the opportunity to purchase a delightful lunch to enjoy while we chat, network and listen to our speaker.

Celebrating 65 Years of VIEW in November 2025

In recognition of VIEW Clubs of Australia’s 65th anniversary, it was a delightful turn out of Members of Murrumbateman and surrounds wearing blue to the monthly meeting on Tuesday 11 November.

The beautiful cupcakes were a great hit, although many thought that they looked too lovely to eat!

October 2025

Over 50 guests were welcomed by Murrumbateman VIEW Club at the October Twice Around and Garden Romp pre-loved clothes and lunch.

Attending the event were ladies from the Women Behaving Badly social group, members of the Murrumbateman bookclub, Yass Hospital Auxiliary, Queanbeyan, Gungahlin and Belconnen VIEW Clubs, along with other friends. Without doubt, the hospitality of the hosts, assistance of volunteers, the weather, abundant and delicious repast, the glorious garden and opportunity to meet new women made for a very enjoyable experience.
