Queanbeyan VIEW Club was formed in 1984.

Currently, the Club sponsors two Smith Family Learning for Life students and is actively involved in fundraising activities to raise donations for The Smith Family programs.

We are always open to new members, so please get in touch today and come and see what it's all about.

Club September Update

Judy Darmody, from Rural Mental Health programe, was the guest speaker for our September meeting. October meeting will be held on Thursday the 16th at the Tourist Hotel, Monaro Street Qbn. 12.for 12.30.

Guest speaker will be Stephen Trump from the Australian Red Cross. New ladies are always welcome to join us in fun and friendship, and to support The Smith Family and Learning for Life students. RSVP to Sue on 0448427237 or queanbeyanview@gmail.com

41-birthday

41st birthday Dinner Celebrations

Speaker was Tony Wood, the Canberra Raiders, Victor the Viking Mascot. Tony spoke of both his being a Mascot for the Raiders, and his work with Baptist Care. Members Enjoyed the luncheon by dressing up in green or in Raiders colours. Next meeting will be on August 21st 12 noon for 12:30pm at the Tourist Hotel, Monaro Street, Queanbeyan. Speaker will be Gillian Opie – downsize and organise.

QPRC Senior Expo

Our club recently attended the QPRC Senior Expo in the Riverside Plaza, Queanbeyan. Pictured is Sandra, Sue and President Kaye. It was a successful few hours, with other organisations participating and for us to show the community what Queanbeyan VIEW is all about.
