  Every two years VIEW members vote on one or more issues of importance that will be the focus of advocacy and lobbying work for the coming years. These are called resolutions.

We are proud of the strong culture we have developed over 65 years of connecting women in communities across Australia to support The Smith Family and improve educational outcomes for Australian children and young people experiencing disadvantage.

Get Involved
- Volunteer
  As a VIEW member there are many opportunities to volunteer your time and skills to directly help and support The Smith Family and disadvantaged Australian children and their families.
- Fundraise
  VIEW members raise over $1.1 million annually for The Smith Family and sponsor more than 1,650+ Learning for Life students.
- Raise awareness and advocate
  With more than 300 clubs around Australia involving some 14,000 women from all walks of life, the collective voice of VIEW is an important aspect of the organsation's work.
- Sponsor a disadvantaged student
  Learning for Life sponsorship provides disadvantaged students with financial assistance, emotional support and access to learning and educational programs.
- Partner with VIEW
  VIEW is proud to have a wide range of community partners that support our fundraising efforts and the work of The Smith Family. We would like to thank the following companies for their ongoing support.
Across Australia, more than 13,000 women come together to connect, give back to their communities and help create brighter futures for young Australians. VIEW members come from all walks of life but share a common purpose: supporting education while building meaningful friendships and community connections.

Southern Highlands VIEW Club

About

Southern Highlands VIEW Club was formed in 1976.

Currently, the Club sponsors four Smith Family Learning for Life students and is actively involved in fundraising activities to raise donations for The Smith Family programs.

We are always open to new members, so please get in touch today and come and see what it's all about.

Helen's Donations

A huge thank you to Helen from the Southern Highlands VIEW Club, who recently dropped off 25 beautiful handmade reading rugs to the Illawarra Smith Family office.

Helen lovingly handmakes these reading rugs for students supported by The Smith Family's Learning for Life program, giving children a special place to read, learn and grow.

We are incredibly grateful for Helen's generosity, time and dedication. Every rug is made with care and will bring comfort and encouragement to a young reader.

Southern Highlands VIEW Club Turned 50!

Today, the Southern Highlands VIEW Club proudly celebrated our 50th Birthday 🎉💛

What a wonderful day it was, filled with friendship, memories, laughter and celebration. It was so special to come together and reflect on 50 incredible years of supporting our community and The Smith Family.

A very special congratulations to our Club President, Val Bunyan, who was presented with her 50 Year Membership Badge today — an amazing achievement and testament to her dedication and commitment to VIEW.

We were honoured to welcome Doug Taylor, CEO of The Smith Family, who presented our decade badges and helped celebrate this milestone occasion.

Thank you to our Zone Club partners — Picton VIEW Club, Campbelltown VIEW Club and Macarthur Evening VIEW Club — along with our past members, for joining us to celebrate such a special day.

A heartfelt thank you also to our special guests Judy Hannan, Vicki from Gumnut Patisserie and Ian Holland from Highland FM 107.1 for sharing the day with us.

Most importantly, thank you to all of our members, past and present, who have made our club what it is today. Your friendship, support and dedication are the heart of the Southern Highlands VIEW Club 💛
