Get Involved
- Volunteer
  As a VIEW member there are many opportunities to volunteer your time and skills to directly help and support The Smith Family and disadvantaged Australian children and their families.
- Fundraise
  VIEW members raise over $1.1 million annually for The Smith Family and sponsor more than 1,650+ Learning for Life students.
- Raise awareness and advocate
  With more than 300 clubs around Australia involving some 14,000 women from all walks of life, the collective voice of VIEW is an important aspect of the organsation's work.
- Sponsor a disadvantaged student
  Learning for Life sponsorship provides disadvantaged students with financial assistance, emotional support and access to learning and educational programs.
- Partner with VIEW
  VIEW is proud to have a wide range of community partners that support our fundraising efforts and the work of The Smith Family. We would like to thank the following companies for their ongoing support.

Hervey Bay VIEW Club

About

Hervey Bay VIEW Club was formed in 1995.

Currently, the Club sponsors seven Smith Family Learning for Life students and is actively involved in fundraising activities to raise donations for The Smith Family programs.

Our club might consist of mature ladies but age is no barrier to having fun, making new friends and sharing life stories and experiences. Meeting days are on the second Monday each month at the Club House and usually include an interesting speaker. Our monthly meeting trading table is always popular as well as raising funds for The Smith Family and our Smith Family Learning for Life student. Socials are held on the fourth Monday and the outing and venue vary monthly. New members are always welcome.

We are always open to new members, so please get in touch today and come and see what it's all about.

Meet Our 2026 Committee

Hervey Bay 30th birthday

Our Club held a momentous occasion in May 2025, celebrating their 30th Birthday. The day was a festive occasion with many members from sister clubs attending including Fraser Coast, Maryborough and Bunderberg. We also had special Guests Elizabeth Birch (National President), Maryanne Maher (National Manager), Jean Jennings (National Councillor) and Christine Foster (Zone Councillor). Our guest speaker was David Lee, Hervey Bay's Member of the QLD Legislative assembly.
