Get Involved
- Volunteer
  As a VIEW member there are many opportunities to volunteer your time and skills to directly help and support The Smith Family and disadvantaged Australian children and their families.
- Fundraise
  VIEW members raise over $1.1 million annually for The Smith Family and sponsor more than 1,650+ Learning for Life students.
- Raise awareness and advocate
  With more than 300 clubs around Australia involving some 14,000 women from all walks of life, the collective voice of VIEW is an important aspect of the organsation's work.
- Sponsor a disadvantaged student
  Learning for Life sponsorship provides disadvantaged students with financial assistance, emotional support and access to learning and educational programs.
- Partner with VIEW
  VIEW is proud to have a wide range of community partners that support our fundraising efforts and the work of The Smith Family. We would like to thank the following companies for their ongoing support.

Surfers Paradise VIEW Club

About

Surfers Paradise VIEW Club was formed in 1986.

Currently, the Club sponsors eight Smith Family Learning for Life students and is actively involved in fundraising activities to raise donations for The Smith Family programs.

We are always open to new members, so please get in touch today and come and see what it's all about.

Location

When: Meeting Day on 2nd Tuesday each month
Time: At 11.30am for 12.00pm
Where: Southport Golf Club
: Our monthly lunch meetings include a guest speaker, raffles, a second-hand books and trading table. Our Club has several interest groups including a book club, a Mahjong group, a Coffee and Chat morning, a craft group and a theatre group. There are also social evenings, dining out with partners and friends at a local restaurant.

Club News

40th Birthday Celebrations

Approx. 38 members attended our 40th birthday celebrations including National President, Lorraine, visiting QC01 Zone Councillor and VIEW members from Nerang VIEW.

New President Dianne conducted the birthday proceedings. NP Lorraine, gave an account of the club’s contributions to The Smith Family and VIEW over time including their fund raising of a significant $246,000. Member and club treasurer Nola cut the Clubs Birthday Cake. Zone Councillor Dianne presented Nola with the clubs Certificate of Appreciation and acknowledged her long standing contributions.

The committee and members continued with the fun birthday event after lunch by performing a fairytale ‘skit” capped off with a rendition of the song “I’m Still Standing”, Yeh,Yeh Yeh.
