  VIEW members exclusively support the children’s education charity, The Smith Family.

  Every two years VIEW members vote on one or more issues of importance that will be the focus of advocacy and lobbying work for the coming years. These are called resolutions.

We are proud of the strong culture we have developed over 65 years of connecting women in communities across Australia to support The Smith Family and improve educational outcomes for Australian children and young people experiencing disadvantage.

Get Involved
- Volunteer
  As a VIEW member there are many opportunities to volunteer your time and skills to directly help and support The Smith Family and disadvantaged Australian children and their families.
- Fundraise
  VIEW members raise over $1.1 million annually for The Smith Family and sponsor more than 1,650+ Learning for Life students.
- Raise awareness and advocate
  With more than 300 clubs around Australia involving some 14,000 women from all walks of life, the collective voice of VIEW is an important aspect of the organsation's work.
- Sponsor a disadvantaged student
  Learning for Life sponsorship provides disadvantaged students with financial assistance, emotional support and access to learning and educational programs.
- Partner with VIEW
  VIEW is proud to have a wide range of community partners that support our fundraising efforts and the work of The Smith Family. We would like to thank the following companies for their ongoing support.
There are more than 300 VIEW Clubs located in communities throughout Australia looking for new members – women from all backgrounds and walks of life, who want to make a difference.

About

Toowoomba Evening VIEW Club was formed in 1999.

Currently, the Club sponsors seven Smith Family Learning for Life students and is actively involved in fundraising activities to raise donations for The Smith Family programs.

We are always open to new members, so please get in touch today and come and see what it's all about.

International Women's Day 2026

Our Club held an International Women's Day fundraiser event on Wednesday 11th March. Members and guests enjoyed a complimentary bubbly on arrival followed by dinner.

Our special Guest Speaker being Dr Rebecca Jack. It was also a pleasure to have Cr Melissa Taylor and Karen from Southport View Club in attendance.

Christmas 2025 Celebrations

December dinner with members had an enjoyable evening playing bowls followed by a BBQ and trivia fun.

October 2025 Fashion Parade

Our Club held a Fashion Parade on Saturday 18th October with Portifino Fashions. Guests and members enjoyed a well presented morning tea followed by a parade of some beautiful outfits.

Celebrating 65 Years of VIEW in August 2025

Our Club celebrated 65 years of View on Wednesday13th August. It was a great pleasure to welcome Zone Councilor, Di, as guest speaker plus four new members being welcomed to our club.

Guest speaker Jill, an author, received a thank-you gift from President Moira following her presentation about writing her book. Jill's talk also covered many other topics.
