Golden Grove Evening VIEW Club
About
The club aims to promote the mission of VIEW (Voices, Interest, Education of Women) and to make a difference to the lives of disadvantaged children through the Smith Family Learning for Life program.
We have 36 members who actively raise funds to support our 3 sponsored Learning for Life students who are in both Primary and Secondary school. We also financially support other Smith Family appeals such as the Winter and Christmas appeals.
Golden Grove Evening VIEW club is a generous and friendly group of like-minded women who enjoy delicious meals at our monthly meetings that are held in the Village Hotel. At our meetings we have a broad selection of interesting guest speakers such as talking about bees in your garden, RAA for older drivers, Ancestry and Heritage and local authors.
We raise funds through our trading tables, Kytons Lamington Drives, very successful Bunnings monthly sausage sizzle and our much sought after Raffle Prizes.
We have regular outings during the month such as visits to interesting venues in Adelaide e.g. Parliament House, Campbelltown Food Trail, Musical productions and lunches at local wineries.
Our members are very welcoming, and our club has been the environment for many lasting friendships
We are always open to new members, so please get in touch today and come and see what it's all about.

14th Birthday Celebrations
On 12th July 2025, 33 members celebrated our 14th birthday at The Watershed Restaurant, Salisbury, South Australia, including our National Zone Coordinator Bernie.
On arrival we were greeted by our hostesses with a glass of champagne or orange juice. After the Welcome from our President Margie AM, we enjoyed a sumptuous buffet with assorted sandwiches, spinach and fetta pastries, lemon, chocolate and caramel tarts, followed by scones, jam and cream with coffee and tea. To finish the afternoon, we gave out prizes to raffle winners.
Then Birthday cake was cut to the sound of a round of Happy Birthday!

Promotion of VIEW
Our local library, Tea Tree Gully, encourages community groups to take up the advantage of promoting their clubs. We promoted our club for a full day, 9am to 4pm, with 10 members spending at least one hour speaking about our club and handing out flyers to those who were interested.
This resulted in Members speaking to approximately 40 library visitors, and hopefully we will have a few take up the opportunity to join us.
