Get Involved
- Volunteer
  As a VIEW member there are many opportunities to volunteer your time and skills to directly help and support The Smith Family and disadvantaged Australian children and their families.
- Fundraise
  VIEW members raise over $1.1 million annually for The Smith Family and sponsor more than 1,650+ Learning for Life students.
- Raise awareness and advocate
  With more than 300 clubs around Australia involving some 14,000 women from all walks of life, the collective voice of VIEW is an important aspect of the organsation's work.
- Sponsor a disadvantaged student
  Learning for Life sponsorship provides disadvantaged students with financial assistance, emotional support and access to learning and educational programs.
- Partner with VIEW
  VIEW is proud to have a wide range of community partners that support our fundraising efforts and the work of The Smith Family. We would like to thank the following companies for their ongoing support.
Across Australia, more than 13,000 women come together to connect, give back to their communities and help create brighter futures for young Australians. About

Prospect VIEW Club was formed in 2015.

Currently, the Club sponsors eight Smith Family Learning for Life students and is actively involved in fundraising activities to raise donations for The Smith Family programs.

We are always open to new members, so please get in touch today and come and see what it's all about.

Meet our 2026 Committee!

Movie Afternoon Fundraiser

On 30 August, Prospect VIEW joined Adelaide East VIEW Club for a fundraising movie afternoon at the Regal Theatre, Kensington, where guests enjoyed a screening of ‘Holy Days’.

Thank you to the members and friends who baked, made sandwiches, served drinks, took photos, sold raffle and theatre tickets, and helped organise the event. Special thanks also to the Regal Theatre for their generous support on the day, which made the fundraiser both successful and enjoyable.

About 250 friends and family attended, and we are sincerely grateful for their support, which enables us to continue helping our students.

French Themed Gala in 2026

Some of our Members gathered to celebrate VIEW at The Highway in June.

Everyone was entertained by the fantastic Tamarisque Duo, enjoyed the yummy food and the guest speakers, National President Lorraine and National Manager Maryanne.

A big thankyou to our Prospect Member Bernie (National Councillor) who helped organise the event.

Coffee Club Gathering in July 2026

As usual, a group of us gathered in the cosy warmth of The Nest Bistro to chat about the topics we rarely have time for at our monthly lunches.

With no subject off limits, there is always something new to discover. Come along and enjoy the camaraderie.

Festive Footy Fun

For a touch of fun, members were invited to wear their favourite footy colours to our last luncheon meeting.

Everyone looked terrific, and Nola, pictured front and centre in her Collingwood gear, won the prize for best footy outfit.

Birthday Celebrations in May 2026

On 19 May, our Club celebrated its 11th birthday with a pink-themed event filled with colour, fun, and community spirit.

Celebration Highlights on the day were:

Pink balloons, serviettes, and flower arrangements added sparkle and fun to the celebration;
Birthday cakes, generously donated by a member’s daughter, were a special part of the day; and
Guests enjoyed raffles, an exceptional trading table, and a few funny stories that brought plenty of smiles.

Guest speaker was Debra Marsden from INTIMO who gave an engaging presentation featuring a range of undergarment fashions.

Zone Councillor Judy (SA01) congratulated and wished our Club continued success over the next 11 years. Thank you to all the members and guests who attended and helped make the celebration such a success.
