Tonsley VIEW Club
About
Our Club has grown quickly to approximately 70 Members and we sponsor 14 students through The Smith Family Learning for Life programs. Nine of our Students are in the Seniors Years, with four in Year 12. Students range in age from 8 years to 17 years.
We have excellent fundraisers to support our Students, and also purchase Digital Resource Learning Packages Fundraisers include Fashion Parades, Quiz Afternoons, extremely successful trading tables and fashion recycling. In 2025, we raised $25,578 for The Smith Family.
We hold coffee mornings and social outings, like bus tours or river cruises, walks, and visits to attractions in Adelaide and environs. We always welcome visitors to our monthly luncheons with guest speakers, so please get in touch with our President Mary, and come and enjoy one of our monthly luncheons.

January 2026 Tour Down Under
For the third year, our Members and Partners have volunteered to work as Traffic marshalls, at the fabulous Tour Down Under, allowing the Peloton of international riders to pass safely.
For this, we raise money for The Smith Family through our VIEW Club. Many thanks to Coordinators Deb S.S. and Sharlene (TDU), for organising all our marshalling points.

February 2026 Outing
In February, we had our first outing for 2026 to Port Noarlunga, where we enjoyed a walk on the new Cliff Walk, coffee at The Coffee Factory, a pizza lunch or did some retail therapy, whatever we fancied.
A good balance of exercise, chat and delicious treats!
January 2026 Social Get-together
In January we had a very successful Friendship Lunch, attended by 30 Members at the Somerton Surf Club.
We share the sea view with you.
