We are proud of the strong culture we have developed over 65 years of connecting women in communities across Australia to support The Smith Family and improve educational outcomes for Australian children and young people experiencing disadvantage.

Get Involved
- Volunteer
  As a VIEW member there are many opportunities to volunteer your time and skills to directly help and support The Smith Family and disadvantaged Australian children and their families.
- Fundraise
  VIEW members raise over $1.1 million annually for The Smith Family and sponsor more than 1,650+ Learning for Life students.
- Raise awareness and advocate
  With more than 300 clubs around Australia involving some 14,000 women from all walks of life, the collective voice of VIEW is an important aspect of the organsation's work.
- Sponsor a disadvantaged student
  Learning for Life sponsorship provides disadvantaged students with financial assistance, emotional support and access to learning and educational programs.
- Partner with VIEW
  VIEW is proud to have a wide range of community partners that support our fundraising efforts and the work of The Smith Family. We would like to thank the following companies for their ongoing support.
Across Australia, more than 13,000 women come together to connect, give back to their communities and help create brighter futures for young Australians. Box Hill/Mitcham VIEW Club

About

Box Hill/Mitcham VIEW Club was formed in 1983.

Currently, the Club sponsors nine Smith Family Learning for Life students and is actively involved in fundraising activities to raise donations for The Smith Family programs.

Join us for Happy Hour! The third Friday of the month, 5 to 6pm, at Platform Pantry, Blackburn. Contact Anne on 0409192700 for more details. For those who find it hard to meet during the day, Box Hill/Mitcham VIEW Club offers an opportunity to meet and find out more about VIEW in your area.

We are always open to new members, so please get in touch today and come and see what it's all about.

Christmas 2025 Celebrations

Our December meeting is always Christmas themed, with lots of fun and laughter.

Two new members, Helen and Bev, ( who can be seen in the top photo) received their Name badges and a gift bag each.
