Get Involved
- Volunteer
  As a VIEW member there are many opportunities to volunteer your time and skills to directly help and support The Smith Family and disadvantaged Australian children and their families.
- Fundraise
  VIEW members raise over $1.1 million annually for The Smith Family and sponsor more than 1,650+ Learning for Life students.
- Raise awareness and advocate
  With more than 300 clubs around Australia involving some 14,000 women from all walks of life, the collective voice of VIEW is an important aspect of the organsation's work.
- Sponsor a disadvantaged student
  Learning for Life sponsorship provides disadvantaged students with financial assistance, emotional support and access to learning and educational programs.
- Partner with VIEW
  VIEW is proud to have a wide range of community partners that support our fundraising efforts and the work of The Smith Family. We would like to thank the following companies for their ongoing support.

About

Hamilton VIEW Club was formed in 2001.

Currently, the Club sponsors two Smith Family Learning for Life students and is actively involved in fundraising activities to raise donations for The Smith Family programs.

We are always open to new members, so please get in touch today and come and see what it's all about.

Guest speaker for March Luncheon 2026

Members and guests enjoyed a musical performance by Amina from The Hamilton and Alexandra College, the daughter of our guest speaker, Dee Barrera.

Dee shared her inspiring journey from being a Learning for Life student to her current leadership role with Standing Tall in Hamilton. She also spoke about the challenges she faced as a young person following the tragic death of her father, and how support, encouragement and education helped shape her path forward.

International Women’s Day & 25th Birthday Celebration

Hamilton VIEW Club recently celebrated International Women’s Day while also marking the Club’s 25th Birthday with a special luncheon attended by members and guests.

The celebration included a reflection on the Club’s history since its founding in 2001 and recognition of founding and long-term members.

Hamilton VIEW Club is proud to support five students through The Smith Family, and the afternoon concluded with the cutting of the 25th birthday cake and a raffle in support of Learning for Life students.

It was a wonderful celebration of friendship, resilience and community.

Celebrating 65 Years of VIEW

Our Club joined in the nationwide celebration of 65 years since the first VIEW Club was established in Sydney. Members marked the occasion in style, dressing reminiscent of the early days, complete with hats, gloves, and handbags in tribute to the founding ladies.

The celebration was highlighted by the attendance of special guest, National Councillor Janet Park, who joined Hamilton members in recognising this important milestone in VIEW’s history.

Celebrating International Women's Day

Over seventy Members attended our International Women's Day lunch.

We were delighted to have three inspiring women on our panel to talk about their journey as women in their respective careers and how we can #accelerateaction for gender equality.

Rowena Clift CEO Western District Health Service; Jayne Manning Councillor Southern Grampians Shire Council; and Elisha Nettleton from Sustainable Plastics solutions. The lunch allowed us to highlight the work of Hamilton VIEW Club VC03 and The Smith Family.
