We are proud of the strong culture we have developed over 65 years of connecting women in communities across Australia to support The Smith Family and improve educational outcomes for Australian children and young people experiencing disadvantage.

Get Involved
- Volunteer
  As a VIEW member there are many opportunities to volunteer your time and skills to directly help and support The Smith Family and disadvantaged Australian children and their families.
- Fundraise
  VIEW members raise over $1.1 million annually for The Smith Family and sponsor more than 1,650+ Learning for Life students.
- Raise awareness and advocate
  With more than 300 clubs around Australia involving some 14,000 women from all walks of life, the collective voice of VIEW is an important aspect of the organsation's work.
- Sponsor a disadvantaged student
  Learning for Life sponsorship provides disadvantaged students with financial assistance, emotional support and access to learning and educational programs.
- Partner with VIEW
  VIEW is proud to have a wide range of community partners that support our fundraising efforts and the work of The Smith Family. We would like to thank the following companies for their ongoing support.

Leopold VIEW Club

About

Leopold VIEW Club was formed in 2023.

The Leopold VIEW Club sponsors four students two primary and two secondary and donated literacy and other packages to the Smith Family throughout the year.

We now have 55 members who actively support the club to raise funds and attend our regular social events, we are a friendly, relaxed and happy club with a welcoming atmosphere.

At our monthly meetings we have interesting guest speakers, celebrations, music and occasionally quizzes. Members also attend our Book Club, Lunch Club and Coffee Club and outings to cement social connectedness and to have fun.

We welcome new members and are happy to host guests at our meetings, please feel free to contact us and come along to see what we are all about.

Surprise Donation from Author Jane Harper

Our Club has recently celebrated three years of supporting The Smith Family's Learning for Life Program, and donations to the winter appeal, and Members were recently gobsmacked by the generosity of acclaimed Australian author Jane Harper, for the donation of $10,000 to support our Club’s work with disadvantaged students.

This followed a chance conversation at a recent book signing, where Delegate Denise met Ms Harper and shared information about our Club, and its mission. This donation is a powerful reminder of how one conversation — and one generous act — can make a profound difference.

As President Victoria said when accepting this monumental offer ‘We are inspired, humbled and incredibly thankful, this gift will change lives.’

The club is thrilled to announce that acclaimed author Kate Mildenhall, best known for her debut novel Skylarking, will be joining us for our 2026 Meet the Author fundraiser. And it will come as no surprise that Jane Harper has been approached to be our special guest in 2027.
