Rockingham Sound Day VIEW Club

About

Rockingham Sound Day VIEW Club was formed in 2003.

Currently, the Club sponsors fifteen (15) Smith Family Learning for Life students and is actively involved in fundraising activities to raise donations for The Smith Family programs.

We are a friendly and welcoming Club open to anyone interested in supporting the 15 Children we sponsor. We have speakers at our meetings, and raffles and we aim to have two events a month that anyone can come to.

We are always open to new members, so please get in touch today and come and see what it's all about.

May 2026 Awards Night

Members were thrilled to attend the Rockingham Volunteer Awards Night on Wednesday 13th May where Jenny was a finalist for Making a Difference Award and Sheena on behalf of our Club was a finalist for The Feed It Forward Category sponsored by Act Belong Commit.

The Inspiring Stories of volunteers and outstanding contributions made it a very special night - everyone in attendance was deserving of recognition. Many congratulations to Jenny for her achievement and for President Sheena for representing our club - we are proud to have reached the finals and am confident that this event will help raise the profile of our Club in the Community.

Birthday Celebrations in 2026

Our Club recently celebrated our 23rd Birthday with a lively lunch attended by Mayor Lorna Buchan who gave a speech congratulating us on our achievements and of our volunteering, particularly as it was Volunteers Week.

A great meeting filled with good food, raffles, music from the Rocky Ukulele Band, a humorous poem from member Zelma and games.
