We are proud of the strong culture we have developed over 65 years of connecting women in communities across Australia to support The Smith Family and improve educational outcomes for Australian children and young people experiencing disadvantage.

Get Involved
- Volunteer
  As a VIEW member there are many opportunities to volunteer your time and skills to directly help and support The Smith Family and disadvantaged Australian children and their families.
- Fundraise
  VIEW members raise over $1.1 million annually for The Smith Family and sponsor more than 1,650+ Learning for Life students.
- Raise awareness and advocate
  With more than 300 clubs around Australia involving some 14,000 women from all walks of life, the collective voice of VIEW is an important aspect of the organsation's work.
- Sponsor a disadvantaged student
  Learning for Life sponsorship provides disadvantaged students with financial assistance, emotional support and access to learning and educational programs.
- Partner with VIEW
  VIEW is proud to have a wide range of community partners that support our fundraising efforts and the work of The Smith Family. We would like to thank the following companies for their ongoing support.

NK Area 65th Gala Celebrations in 2025

Area NK Gala Celebrations 2025

Celebrating VIEWS 65th Anniversary

Area NK which covers the Lower Mid North NSW Coast and Inland held a spectacular 65th Anniversary Gala during July 2025, with 130 attendees, representing 17 Clubs.

Special guests included National Vice President Lorraine Thomson and Guest Speakers, Lina Clayton who spoke on being part of the group that started the first Women’s Refuge in NSW at Glebe, now known as Elsie House; and Katie Blake and Alison Neal who spoke about the increasing number of women in the SES who all do the same tasks as the men.

The All Star Dance School presented Junior and Senior dance exhibitions who were delightful. A wonderful day enjoyed by all, raising a total of $2,000 for our Learning for Life students.
