Travel by Rail:
V/Line trains run frequently between Melbourne’s Southern Cross Station and Geelong, the spacious carriages have comfortable seats and plenty of room for luggage storage providing a convenient way to travel.
Services also connect Warrnambool to Geelong, making it easy to explore the surrounding areas. -
Travel by Road:
Geelong is an easy one-hour drive west of Melbourne along the Princes Freeway and just 20 kilometres from the start of the Great Ocean Road in Torquay, making it the perfect starting or ending point for a Great Ocean Road trip! -
Travel by Sea:
Travel by ferry and enjoy a scenic journey to Geelong and The Bellarine. Searoad Ferries offers a 40-minute service for cars and foot passengers between Sorrento and Queenscliff.
For an extended adventure, sail overnight from Tasmania to Geelong on the Spirit of Tasmania, with both overnight and seasonal daytime crossings.
