Geelong Evening VIEW Club

About

Geelong Evening VIEW Club was formed in 1993.

Currently, the Club has 27 members sponsors four Smith Family Learning for Life students and is actively involved in fundraising activities to raise donations for The Smith Family programs  Our monthly meetings feature entertaining and informative guest speakers.

Members also participate in various social activities, such as afternoon teas, lunches, creative chatter and garden club to develop friendships and have fun.  It is rewarding and inspiring to be involved with VIEW.

We warmly welcome new members to join our club and are always pleased to host guests at our meetings. If you are interested in learning more about what we do, please feel free to get in touch.

  • When: Meeting Day on 3rd Monday each month
  • Time: At 6.00pm for 6.30pm
  • Where: Waurn Ponds Hotel
  • Winter Meeting Hours - June, July and August: Meet at 11.00am for 11.30am start then Lunch

Garden Club's Outing July 2026

On 28 July 2026, Garden Club members visited Valley Road Nursery in Highton, where they explored its beautiful plants, garden items, and gift shop.

Tour of Barwon Water’s Black Rock Water Reclamation Plant July 2026

On 24 July 2026, members and partners attended a highly informative guided tour of Barwon Water’s Black Rock Water Reclamation Plant, Geelong’s most important wastewater treatment and water recycling facility, located in Connewarre.

Our members enjoyed a lovely lunch and conversation with members from other clubs at Drysdale Day VIEW 25th Birthday Masquerade Party.

VIEW at Geelong Volunteering Expo in May 2026

At Geelong's Volunteering Expo 2026 we were delighted that thirty-two members of the public engaged with us and accepted brochures/essence cards. One lady said she would be attending our June meeting.
