  VIEW members exclusively support the children’s education charity, The Smith Family.
- Resolutions
  Every two years VIEW members vote on one or more issues of importance that will be the focus of advocacy and lobbying work for the coming years. These are called resolutions.

We are proud of the strong culture we have developed over 65 years of connecting women in communities across Australia to support The Smith Family and improve educational outcomes for Australian children and young people experiencing disadvantage.

Our Culture
Get Involved
- Volunteer
  As a VIEW member there are many opportunities to volunteer your time and skills to directly help and support The Smith Family and disadvantaged Australian children and their families.
- Fundraise
  VIEW members raise over $1.1 million annually for The Smith Family and sponsor more than 1,650+ Learning for Life students.
- Raise awareness and advocate
  With more than 300 clubs around Australia involving some 14,000 women from all walks of life, the collective voice of VIEW is an important aspect of the organsation's work.
- Sponsor a disadvantaged student
  Learning for Life sponsorship provides disadvantaged students with financial assistance, emotional support and access to learning and educational programs.
- Partner with VIEW
  VIEW is proud to have a wide range of community partners that support our fundraising efforts and the work of The Smith Family. We would like to thank the following companies for their ongoing support.
Across Australia, more than 13,000 women come together to connect, give back to their communities and help create brighter futures for young Australians. VIEW members come from all walks of life but share a common purpose: supporting education while building meaningful friendships and community connections.

Bayswater City VIEW Club

About

Bayswater City VIEW Club was formed in 2013.

Currently, the club sponsors twelve Smith Family Learning for Life Students and is actively involved in fundraising activities to raise donations for the Smith Family Programs.

We are always open to new members, so please get in touch today and come and see what it's all about.

Grant Success in May 2026

On the evening of 4th May a successful team of our Club Members pitched their application for funding to the Bayswater branch of Bendigo Bank.

We were successful and received support from the bank's Community Investment Funding for the purchase of a laptop and a square reader.

A visit to Ellis Art House

We viewed some lovely paintings and were even able to watch at talk to some artists at work and of course finished off with coffee and lots of chatting.

Supporting our schools

Twelfth Birthday Celebrations and 65th VIEW Anniversary in 2025

Birthday celebrations at Pinelli Winery in the Swan Valley. Guest speakers, great food, lovely fellowship with other VIEW club members. Welcoming new and honouring long term members.

Soup and Scarf Friendship Day in July

On 29 July 2025, we met to enjoy a bowl of soup, sell and buy a scarf, listen to the debate to be taken to National Conference and lots of catching up and enjoying being together.

VIEW Promotion

Members of the Bayswater City VIEW Club gathered at the Noranda Shopping centre to take advantage of a day to promote local clubs. We engaged with the public and shared the aims of VIEW and our support of The Smith Family.
