- Time Commitment: Minimum 3hs – maximum 16hrs per week – ideally with a 6mth commitment. Please note: our heaviest workload is generally between January and September.
Program and Scholarship Administration team is a combination of paid team members and volunteers based virtually who support administrative aspects of the Learning for Life Scholarship and suite of programs. Through this role, volunteers provide critical background support for the educational and social development of young Australians to succeed at school, so they can create better futures for themselves. Key Tasks & Activities: Skills, experience, education, attributes As part of The Smith Family’s Child Protection Framework, we conduct screening for certain volunteer roles such as interviews, reference checks, National Criminal History and Working with Children checks. Applicants are informed of these requirements when they register their interest in a role. Screening requirements:
The Administration & Customer Service volunteers provide digital administration support and participate primarily in processing scholarship documents, data entry and child protection and privacy checks for various Learning for Life teams and programs.
