Would your child like to write to their sponsor but they’re not sure what to say? That’s ok! Here are some simple ideas to help them get started.
Conversation starters
Your child could share things like:
- What they want to be when they grow up They could even ask their sponsor what they wanted to be when they were a child.
- Something they’ve done at school recently For example, going on an excursion, learning something new, or playing a sport.
- Their favourite subject at school They could share what they’ve been learning and why they like it.
- A goal they’re working towards Maybe they’re trying to get better at a subject, make new friends, or try something new.
- A favourite teacher or classroom activity Sponsors love hearing about the people and moments that make school special.
