- Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander programs
  Our work engages Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities in learning through education, life skills and role models, promoting culturally responsive practice.
Our learning support and mentoring programs in 90 Australian communities directly help children in need achieve their goals through education.

Current volunteer opportunities in NT

Administration Assistant (Virtual) Katherine NT - (25-26NT_AdminVirtual_850)
- Location: Virtual, NT
- Position Type: Administration Assistant (Virtual) Katherine NT - (25-26NT_AdminVirtual_850)
- Time Commitment: Minimum 3hrs per week and maximum 5hrs per week. Initial commitment, including training etc. may require up to 8hrs per week. With continued commitment, where possible, to the project’s completion in June 2026.
The Smith Family is seeking a volunteer willing to work remotely (virtual) as part of a team providing various administration, communication, customer service, and relationship building skills with other passionate team members.
Through this role, volunteers provide critical background support for a funded program run by a small remote Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisation. The organisation brings music education opportunities to the students at their remote school in Jilkminggan Community.
