Time Commitment: Shift options: Morning 9.45am am-2.30pm | Afternoon 1.45pm-6pm | Full day - 9.45am-6pm - Must be able to attend the Volunteer briefing, Tuesday 22nd Sept 12pm-1pm (online via MS Teams)

Love community events, working with kids, and being part of something joyful? Join us as a Children’s Week Event Support Volunteer and help bring Fairfield’s Children’s Week celebration to life on Tuesday 29 September 2026!

This is a one‑day volunteer opportunity where you’ll help create a safe, welcoming and fun experience for children and families.

🎉 What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll support the smooth running of the event by helping with a mix of hands‑on and people‑focused tasks, including:

Assisting with event set‑up and pack‑down
Supervising arts and crafts activities
Supporting outdoor play and children’s activities
Helping manage queues and crowd flow
Assisting at food and activity stalls
Ushering guests, performers and community partners
Providing friendly information and support to families
Helping keep the site clean and tidy throughout the day
Some tasks may involve light lifting/manual handling
