A new way to manage your giving
Welcome to My Smith Family. We want to make supporting disadvantaged Australian children as easy as we can. You can now view, download and print your tax receipts online. You can also view your history of support, update your personal details and access your payment information – all in one place! In addition, Sponsors can now write to their students and view their student’s profile online.

How you can use My Smith Family

See your support history
You can see your support history at a glance. Review donations from the last two financial years, number of sponsored students and information on your most recent donation. -
Download your tax receipts for the last 2 years
Once logged in, by clicking on 'Receipts' you can view your donation history and download tax receipts for the last 2 years in one secure location. If you'd like to receive a copy of your receipt via email, simply click on the 'Email me' link. New donations will appear in the list below within 2 business days of receipt. -
Update your contact and payment details
To make sure you receive all the latest information from The Smith Family we've made it much easier for you to keep your contact details up to date. You can also manage your payment methods via our secure portal.

Your summary provides a snapshot of your donations and the difference you've helped make for disadvantaged Australian children. Key information like your donations this financial year, number of sponsored students and information on your most recent donation. -
View your sponsored student and read their profile
Using My Smith Family you can view your sponsored students and you can read their student profile online. Students create a new profile each year so you can follow along with their progress at school and see their interests and hobbies outside of school. -
Communicate with your sponsored student
Communicating with your student is very simple via our online contact facility so you can send encouraging words of support throughout the year. Return communication from your student is also delivered via the portal.
Details you'll need to register
To register for My Smith Family, you'll need to have already donated to The Smith Family. When you donated, you would have received a receipt or letter that included a unique 'Smith Family ID'. This would have been either in the bottom section of a tax receipt or at the top right-hand corner of most Smith Family letters.
