- Semester 1 Payments are made from January to March
- Semester 2 Payments are made from June to August
The payment you receive is based on the school Year level of your child.

What can I use the Scholarship payments for?
The funds must be used to pay for school-related expenses such as school uniforms and shoes, stationery, books, school camps and excursions. Payments cannot be used to pay for mobile phones, food, household or medical bills, or school fees.
Semester 1 payments for students in Kindergarten/ Prep/ Reception to Year 10 are processed automatically.
For students in Year 11 and 12, we ask for confirmation of enrollment by completing the Senior Secondary Options Form.
Semester 2
To receive the Semester 2 payment all students must provide a copy of the End of Year School Report and a completed Student Profile.

How will I know if a payment has been processed ?
The easiest way to track your payment/s is via My Smith Family. Just login and go to the My Payments tab.
We will also send you an email or SMS (based on your preference) to let you know that your payment has been processed.
You can update your communication preference in My Smith Family.
How do I change my bank details ?
If you need to change your bank details, you will need to contact us.
To ensure we don’t process a payment to the wrong account, please ‘Pause’ your payment in My Smith Family first. Then email us a copy of the top part of your bank statement which shows your name, BSB and Account Number.
I have another child starting school, can they receive a Scholarship ?
If you have another child starting school, please contact your Family Partnership Coordinator.
Places on the Learning for Life program are limited but your Coordinator will be able to let you know if there is any availability. You will find your Family Partnership Coordinators details when you login to My Smith Family on the Contact Us page.
How can I pause my payments ?
The easiest way to pause a payment is in My Smith Family. Just login, go to the My Payments tab and select ‘Pause payments’
